Understand the refund route
British Airways separates pre-travel reservations assistance from post-travel claims. The contact page includes online routes for refund information and for raising or checking a claim.
- Open the official route that matches your request.
- Keep the claim reference and any receipt the airline asks for.
- Do not treat the reservations line as a dedicated refunds department.
The displayed phone retains its documented purpose. It is not described as a dedicated refunds hotline unless the source identifies it that way. No refund outcome is guaranteed.
