Refund information & contact routes
General questions before and during your trip
1-800-435-9792Southwest’s general-questions contact. Reservation requests can use this route, with separate official guidance for baggage and ticket refunds.
Toll-free applies in the listed calling region. Mobile airtime or international charges may apply.
Understand the refund route
Southwest’s Contact Us page provides a ticket-refund request separately from expense reimbursement. Choose the form that describes the request rather than submitting the same information to unrelated departments.
- Keep the original itinerary and any cancellation notice.
- Use the ticket-refund form for ticket consideration.
- Use the separate reimbursement route for eligible expenses.
The displayed phone retains its documented purpose. It is not described as a dedicated refunds hotline unless the source identifies it that way. No refund outcome is guaranteed.

Look up the airport on the airline’s own airport-information page. A central US reservations number is not a direct telephone for every airport, station or ticket office.
